I am digging up potatoes, cooking a vegetable, and hear rumors that Skip is making the rolls.
I offered seafood chowder, scalloped oysters, or any other tasty dish. I was 'told' to bring the rolls. If that ended it I could have handled it, feelings somewhat hurt for Mom not wanting what I thought were some of my tastier dishes, but I'm a big boy. This followed; "make sure you put enough whole wheat in your dough." Not only am I reduced to bringing just rolls but now she is telling me how to make them. Okay, I'm pushing sixty and have learned over the years to 'roll' with the punches, but her next request got me. "This time, make plenty of rolls." Maybe mother, the reason we run out of my tasty rolls is because I don't overload them with a lot of whole wheat flour. I wanted to say this but it was her birthday so "yes" I will be bringing the rolls. Janie picked up an extra bag of whole wheat flour. I wonder how many is enough?

If you have any extra, feel free to send some potatoes down with Tracie this weekend

So that's "the rest of the story"
We can never have too many of your rolls Skip... and for the record, I would have eaten whatever you brought ;)
