Speaking of Mom, the competition is on. I've been trying to sneak in some swimming and have been signing in, just in case I get the last swim. Well, I went last night at six, but she was in the garden and heard me so she went at 6:30. So I went this morning at 6 (in the dark and the 15 geese that I couldn't see gave me quite a fright). Anyway, she went this evening again. Now I think she may have to win because the temp is really suppose to drop tomorrow night. I tried to give her a run for her money, but she is much stronger willed than I.

Hope everyone is staying high and dry. Greene school closed early and Tracie is pumping and vacuuming out her basement, hoping the electricity stays on so she can stay ahead of the water. Looks like they will have to start building "flood days" into their school calendar.

My mistake. I said Aunt Marion's birthday was on the 5th, it is actually the 9th, so if you didn't get a card out you still have time. She's been enjoying the attention.
