Deanna.gets the honors for creating the first post.(Tracie and Jess and Jennifer for comments)
Just talked with Mom/Grandma and she is excited about eating grilled avocados at Paul's party and wondering what to put in the time capsule.
Father's Day: Molly orchestrated a surprise Father's Day dinner for Jim, enlisting her Grandmother's kitchen, potato salad and homemade rolls. She assigned Jen the rest of the dinner.
Nathan got an impressive photo book created by Deanna, Cris had an evening of fishing with family and Ted feasted on pudding-filled cake with strawberries and whipped cream.
Tracie came in first in her age group in a recent race and was motivated to buy new sneakers and start thinking Marathon!
Jim and I had a large black bear cross the road in front of my car on 206 last week - I stopped and Jim got out to make friends, but the guy seemed to be looking for a different species. Of course my camera was in the back seat.
Jen, Joe and Molly rescued a baby fawn from the pond with the paddle boat - it had fallen in and found it could swim, but couldn't get back up the bank.
Skip and Jane are traveling via train to Chicago so he can meet his new granddaughter.
See Jen Gavett's, now Jen Spencer's wedding pictures here.
I recently made a website for the aquaculture assoc., created a powerpoint for the class he is teaching and published his book. ( Incentive for Ted to build me a sunporch - we each use our different talents).

Mom just wanted to say you are an awesome blogger. This was a great post. So nice to hear about everyone.
Hey! What about my wedding pictures???? It takes 2 to get married! Hahaha...
Oh I also wanted to add in that Jen and Molly would not touch the fawn... I was the one who almost fell into the pond off the paddle boat trying to rescue the poor thing... it all happened when Gram, Molly, Jen and I were swimming when we heard a loud noise and saw Bud chase something into the pond and kept trying to attack it. Of course I was the one that everyone was screaming to, to go stop Bud! Haha... But once Bud was away Jen and I went in the paddle boat and Gram and Molly went in the golf cart to see what he was after. Once I was able to show Molly the fawn Jen drove me in the golf cart to the back woods, while I holding the fawn, to release it where I thought it was before so its mommy could find it again. I so wish I had my camera phone on me because I would have taken a couple pictures to post on here for everyone.
